I can tell you this much.......
Lisa Damschroder, who is now working with Maultsby in Economic Development, is a personal friend of and was originally hired to work for the Sarasota County Government by the infamous Jeff Seward, who is now the CFO of HART in Hillsborough County (how he got that job after the chaos caused in Sarasota is beyond me).
Lisa Damschroder was a student of Jeff Seward at Webster University in Sarasota, where Jeff Seward was working as an instructor. THIS is how Lisa Damschroder was originally hired for Sarasota County; she was originally brought in by Jeff Seward himself as a temporary employee and later hired on full time as a permanent employee. At the time Damschroder starting working for the Sarasota County Government, she was still working on her business degree at Webster and had an undergraduate degree in an an unrelated field. I would love for someone to tell me how that qualified Lisa Damschroder to be a Budget Management Analyst for the Sarasota County Government.
Point is...it is not what your degree is in or what your qualifications are...it is who you know….and people wonder why so many citizens question what is going on.
I guess the people who worked in and caused the fiasco in the budget department for the Sarasota County Government, the same people who were responsible for the numbers that Jeff Seward could not himself even explain to the Sarasota County Board of County Commissioners are the same individuals who are going to miraculously fix the economic problems that plague our County. Nice. What do the other budget representatives have THEIR degrees in…….basket weaving or auto mechanics? And who did they know to get their jobs?
