SARASOTA, Fla. - A reader's poll done by a travel advice website run by USA Today has placed Sarasota's Ringling Museum among the best attractions in the state.

The website "10 Best" recently held an online contest asking users to vote for the "Best Florida Attraction."  And while many will likely assume that the Magic Kingdom would top the list, the actual results are surprising.

The top spot went to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, home to Winter the dolphin, featured in the heartwarming film "Dolphin Tale".

The runner-up was the Suncoast's own Ringling Museum.  The website cites the museum's "Louvre-worthy collection" of art as a key draw to the former estate of John and Mable Ringling.

Rounding out the top five are:   Everglades Holiday Park near Lf. Lauderdale (Home to TV stars 'The Gator Boys'), Sea World's Discovery Cove in Orlando, and the Magic Kingdom at Disney.

The complete list is available at www.10best.com/awards/travel/best-florida-attraction/.

Earlier this month Yahoo Travel featured Siesta Key Beach on its list of the top 10 "bucket list" beaches in the world.
