**UPDATE** The sheriff's office announced Friday morning that Brian Krach has been located and is safe.

SARASOTA, Fla. - Authorities are looking for help locating a Sarasota man who hasn't been heard from for months, even though his belongings and car are still at his home.

43-year-old Brian Krach is described as 5’7” tall, 160 pounds and balding with very light or white hair.

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office was alerted to the man's disappearance by his brother, who drove down from Ohio to find Krach missing, with no sign of forced entry to the home and no indication that a crime occurred.  His belongings were there and his 2003 Acura was parked in the driveway.

Krach was last seen in November 2013, when his brother requested a welfare check.  A deputy went to the house and spoke with Krach, who promised to contact his brother. He never did.

Neighbors also said they had not seen him since November.

Anyone with information on Krach or his whereabouts is asked to call Det. Mark Lefebvre in Criminal Investigations at 941-861-4900 or the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number, 941-316-1201.
