SARASOTA, Fla. - Police say they have arrested a homeless man after an argument between two men in the computer lab at Selby Library ended with a stabbing.

According to Sarasota Police, witnesses say 27-year-old Andrew Timshin and the 28-year-old male victim were not getting along for about an hour and were seen shoving each other near a copy machine.  One person says they saw Timshin put a knife in his pocket.

At some point the victim went downstairs and asked somebody to call 911 because he had been stabbed.

Arriving officers approached Timshan, who was still sitting at the computer and found a bloody knife in his pocket.

Timshin, who is listed as homeless, was arrested without incident and will be charged with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon.

The victim was flown to to Blake Memorial Hospital in Bradenton for treatment to stab wounds in the shoulder and neck.  He is listed in stable condition.

The library remains open.
