Units vandalized at shuttered Colony resort

LONGBOAT KEY, Fla. -- Longboat Beach Police are looking for the person who vandalized the abandoned Colony Beach and Tennis Resort.

According to published reports, more than 30 rooms in six buildings were damaged. Fire extinguishers were broken, doors were kicked in, and units were ransacked.

The resort's storage shed was also damaged.

Longboat Key Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
