Two women sought after 8 cell phones stolen from 3 stores

SARASOTA, FL. - Deputies are looking for two female suspects after 8 cell phones were stolen from three different stores.

It happened on Monday sometime between 3 and 5 p.m. at the Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile stores. The stores are located on the 4100-4200 Block of Tamiami Trail and the 2300 Block of Bee Ridge Rd.

Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the above locations to investigate 3 separate incidents of cell phone thefts. The two African-American female suspects entered the businesses and were able to disconnect the cell phones from the alarm cords without activating the alarm. A total of 8 cell phones were stolen.

One of the businesses was able to provide a surveillance photo of the suspects while inside the business.

They are possible driving a black new model passenger car possibly a Chevrolet product.
