BRADENTON, Fla. -- Two long time employees of Manatee County could soon be out of a job in the wake of an investigation into the YMCA.

County officials have started the termination process. This comes after an audit of the YMCA concluded the agency had defrauded taxpayers by falsifying information about payment for programs at the Y.

More than $100,000 is unaccounted for following the probe.

The two employees in question both work in the Community Services Department, and were responsible for monitoring the account.

During a press conference over the weekend, YMCA officials say there was no fraud, just flaws in their documentation process.

ABC 7's Todd Dunn has been following this story and will will have more tonight on ABC 7 News.
