SARASOTA, Fla. - Two men have been arrested after detectives say they grabbed a woman's wallet outside a Publix ATM and ran away.

It happened Saturday afternoon at the Publix in The Landings shopping center, located at 4840 South Tamiami Trail.

According to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, the victim was using the ATM outside of the Publix around 1:00pm when a man grabbed her wallet and ran. A witness reported seeing two suspects run across U.S. 41 toward Outer Drive. Deputies viewed video of the incident and recognized one of the suspects as Paul Casteel, who lives on Outer Drive.

Deputies interviewed Casteel and he admitted to being with the man who actually took the wallet, but gave detectives an incorrect name for the suspect. He was arrested Saturday for Principal to Strong Arm Robbery.

Wednesday, detectives received a tip naming Scott Buchanan as the second suspect. He was located and confessed to detectives that he was sorry but needed money for drugs. Buchanan, who has a long history, is charged with Robbery by Sudden Snatching.
