BRADENTON, Fla. -- Two Bradenton women are recovering from injuries suffered after a truck crashed into a home.
It happened just before 5 o'clock Monday evening in the 2600 block of 5th Street East. The driver, 41-year-old Latonya Williams, pulled her Dodge Ram into the driveway. Instead of the hitting the brake, Williams hit the gas pedal, causing the truck to crash through the home and entered the kitchen.
The truck hit 39-year-old Regina Pitts and 46-year-old Tracy Conner, who were both inside the home at the time. Pitts suffered minor injuries, while Conner is in stable condition at Blake Medical Center.
