With the start of the 2016 Hurricane season is less than a week away, another system may be forming to the East of Florida.
In January the Suncoast had its first named storm Alex form out of season and now another has taken shape.
Computer forecast models are suggesting that an area of low pressure will develop east of the Bahamas and then start to move west-northwest.
The National Hurricane Center is now giving it a 70 percent chance for developing over the next 5 days, and a 50% chance in the next 2 days.
Even if it were to develop, it appears it would have little to do with our weather through the weekend as computer models take it toward the Carolina coast.
