National Hurricane Center - The seventh named storm of the 2013 Atlantic hurricane season has formed. It is located just south of Puerto Rico and is moving to the NW. Top winds are at 40 mph and is expected to stay as a weak tropical storm as it moves through Puerto Rico.

A trough of low pressure is expected to move down through the S.E. U.S. and this should keep this system far away from the U.S. Mainland. Most of the models agree with this scenario.

Extreme flooding will occur on Puerto Rico as 10 inches of rain may occur with this system causing mud slides and dangerous flash floods.
