BRADENTON, Fla. -- The trial for three former manatee high school administrators charged in connection to the Rod Frazier case begins today.
Former principal and superintendent Robert Gagnon, and former assistant principals Greg Faller and Matthew Kane all face felony and misdemeanor charges of failing to report child abuse.
In April, former Manatee High assistant football coach Rod Frazier agreed to a plea deal to avoid jail time. Some of his charges were dropped, and he pled no contest to inappropriately touching students and teachers.
Gagnon, Faller and Kane's case will not be heard by a jury. The Bradenton Herald reported earlier this month that the three waived their right to trial by jury, in favor of a judge.
ABC 7's Bobeth Yates is following this story and will have reports coming up on ABC 7 News.
