MANATEE COUNTY - The area's first treetop obstacle course is opening to the public Saturday. Tree Umph! adventure course promises to challenge those with a flair for adventure.

The various obstacle courses are set up for beginners all the way to skilled athletes and climbers. They offer everything from scale nets, bungee swings to zip lining.

The park owner says this is like nothing this area has seen before. “They’re challenging, they’re fun, the demographics of people we get here are across the board,” says owner Aaron Corr.

The grand opening starts Saturday at 8am. All course patrons will be required to take a quick harness class and wear safety gear.

The obstacle course is located off State Road 70, 9 miles east of Interstate 75.  For more information, visit
