Traffic crash sends Manatee County Deputy to the hospital

BRADENTON, FL- A Traffic crash on 14th Street West in Bradenton send two people to the hospital, including a Manatee County Sheriff's Deputy.

It happened Thursday around 4:30 p.m.  in the afternoon.  According to a Sheriff's Office report, Two deputies were conducting a routine patrol when they became involved in a traffic crash with another vehicle.

One of the deputies and the driver of the second vehicle had to be taken to area hospitals and treated.  The Sheriff's Patrol car and the second vehicle involved both sustained heavy damage and had to be towed from the scene.
