TAMPA, Fla. – According to a AAA survey, 36% of consumers say they always use a designated driver after drinking, yet 20% reported rarely or never using one. To help make sure everyone has a safe ride home, AAA and Bud Light will again offer the Tow to Go program for the holidays.

The program is designed to help discourage an intoxicated driver from getting behind the wheel. Anyone, AAA member or not, can call (855) 2-TOW-2-GO for a free ride beginning December 20th through January 1st.

A responding AAA tow truck will provide both you and your vehicle with a confidential local ride within a 10-mile radius to a safe location.

The service is provided in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee.

Since its inception in 1998, Tow to Go has safely removed more than 22,000 intoxicated drivers from the roads. The service is designed to be used as a last resort. It is offered based on availability of AAA drivers and tow trucks during times of high call volume.
