Police: Gun malfunction may have saved woman from husband

Bradenton Police say Steven Pinel shot his wife as she slept at a home in the 4800 block of 51st Street West on Friday. Amazingly, she survived and ran to a neighbor's house.

Sex offender charged with previously molesting two girls at school

According to to a sheriff's office report, two victims came forward separately in January and June of this year to report that they were touched inappropriately by Kuntz in 2011 while he was employed in the aftercare program at Taylor Ranch Elementary in Venice.

A Ft. Myers teen got more of a ride than he probably bargained for while out boating off of Captiva this weekend.
