Kayaker paddles 4000 miles, arrives in Key West

Daniel Alvarez pulled his 17-foot kayak onto Key West's South Beach on Saturday, completing the trek that began June 11th.

On Thursday around 8am, the Sarasota Police Department responded to the 1800 block of 19th Street on a report of a man lying motionless in the vacant field behind the apartments, which is behind the Boys and Girls Club.
