Toddler falls from 2nd story window in Sarasota

SARASOTA, Fla. – A toddler was injured Monday morning after falling from a 2nd-story window in Sarasota.

At approximately 7:30am, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office and Fire Department responded to the 4500 block of Olive Avenue, near Bee Ridge Park, where a toddler had been standing near an open window on the second floor of the home. The child had reportedly been pushing on the screen when it gave way and he fell.

The toddler was airlifted to All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg with unknown injuries.
