Three incumbents retain commission seats in Longboat Key

LONGBOAT KEY - Three incumbents in Longboat Key will return to their seats on the town commission.

At large commissioner Phil Younger beat challenger Gene Jaleski to win re-election in the at-large two-year seat, 1,479 votes to 1,000.

District 4 commissioner Jim Brown edged out Larry Grossman to keep his seat on the commission, 1,395 to 1,094.

Terry Gans was also an incumbent seeking re-election. He won a very close race to Irwin Pastor, winning by 27 votes, 1,262 to 1,235.
