Ketchup and mustard: Multi-tasking powers of those little to-go packets
Ever wonder what to do with all those extra little packets you get when you get food to go? Well don’t chuck them, because those mustard and ketchup packs, in addition to being yummy on your dogs and burgers, can be handy dandy household helpers and health aids.

DEBUNK DE-ODOR: Bottles sometimes still have a funky odor after you wash them, simply squirt a packet of two into a bottle, fill with warm water , shake and rinse. Rinse well, and the smell will be gone.

- Packet of yellow mustard
- Teaspoon lemon juice
- Teaspoon of salt
- Teaspoon of honey
- ½ cup of hot water
Let it sit for 10 minutes and gargle until your throat feels better. Repeat every few hours or until you go to the drugstore and get some Listerine
COPPER CLEANER: The acid dissolves tarnish on your copper pots and silverware. Rub some on and wipe with a soft cloth. For tough spots, mix in a packet of salt to the ketchup to create a more abrasive solution. Just be careful and test small area first since might scratch.
CHLORINE CORRECTOR: Apply several packets to help bring back your lovely blonde color vs. that lovely chlorine green cast. Leave on for about 20 minutes. Shampoo thoroughly and then go enjoy some ketchup and fries
