Suspect attempts to carjack Bradenton man as he leaves work

BRADENTON, FL-  Manatee County Deputies are looking for three men who attempted to carjack a man as he left work.

It happened at the 11-hundred block of Cortez Road in Bradenton early Wednesday morning.  According to Manatee County Sheriff's Office deputies, the victim was leaving work when three men approached him and tried to force the victim from his car.  When he resisted, they battered the victim with knife. 

The victim was able to drive away and go to a family members house, who took him to the hospital.  He received several stitches from the attack.  Anyone with information on this attack is asked to contact the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
