Suncoast vulnerable to rising seas

SARASOTA, FL - A new scientific study says that 316 U.S. coastal cities will be underwater unless there is a dramatic reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.

A paper published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences also claims that rising sea levels could threaten more than 1,400 cities. No state will feel the effects more than Florida.

ABC 7 Reporter Bobeth Yates is breaking down the study, and looking at what might need to be done here on the Suncoast as the water rises.
