MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A skating duo that represented the Suncoast and the United States at this year’s Winter Olympics announced they are going their separate ways.
Felicia Zhang and Nathan Bartholomay made the announcement Wednesday.
The couple wowed audiences at the Ellenton Ice Rink with their practice sessions leading up to the big games.
According to the Bradenton Herald, Zhang is retiring from competition to pursue her education at University of South Florida.
The couple placed 12th in the pairs skaters competition at the Sochi games in Russia last February.
Nathan is reportedly now looking for a new partner, and wants to represent the U.S. in the next Olympic games.
