CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. - A nationwide manhunt is underway for a Suncoast man accused of killing his wife in California.  29-year-old Edly Atherley allegedly stabbed his wife Ashley to death on December 1st.

Edly is a Port Charlotte High graduate and still has family on the Suncoast.  Investigators in California believe he could be headed to the Suncoast and the Charlotte County Sheriff says they will be on the lookout for him.

Edly and his wife lived in Tampa before moving to California earlier this year.  Edly is considered to be armed and dangerous by authorities.
