MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. - 11 dogs were adopted from Manatee County Animal Services, just hours before they were set to be euthanized.

The dogs were at risk after a space crunch caused by last month's raid at Napier's Animal Sanctuary, and had been set to be put down if not adopted by 5:00 this evening.

But after word got out, two were adopted Friday, four on Saturday, and then the remaining five were adopted Monday.
