SARASOTA - Two local students got a surprise visit from their big brother Tuesday. He's just back from Afghanistan.

Kevin and Kristopher Rice thought they were attending a pep rally at the Suncoast School for Innovative Studies. Little did they know, it was all a cover up.

Big brother Cameron walked through the door and gave his siblings the surprise of a lifetime.

"It was the best day I've had in a long time. I'm so happy to be here right now with these two boys," says PFC. Cameron Rice, U.S. Army.

Up next for the rice brothers is a planned trip to Busch Gardens.

Their big brother Cameron walked through the door and gave his siblings the surprise of a lifetime…not to mention some long overdue bear hugs.

This is a reason to celebrate, and God forbid we lose a brother in uniform, THEN we lower the flag....not for a singer. Just sayin'......
