SARASOTA - A candidate college was held at USF Sarasota-Manatee on Friday.

The bi-annual workshop was for anyone interested in learning how to run a successful campaign.

Topics were fundraising, qualifying and dealing with the media, but not everyone there was running for office.

Friday’s participants think even voters would benefit from USF's Candidate College, so that they know more about the election process.
