BRADENTON, Fla. - Buck and Bill, two Australian Shepherds, were set to be euthanized in Manatee County.

After another hearing Friday, a judge decided not to make a decision yet on the fate of the dogs.

Instead, Buck and Bill's defense counsel was granted until the end of Monday to provide material to support its argument.  The defense believes the dogs were wrongfully taken by Manatee County Animal Services, after they attacked a boy in late 2012.

A judge will review the supplemental material in order to make a final decision.

Your reporting seems to be slanted towards the killing. I suggest you read all of the transcripts and files on this case. Laws were broken, due process has never been done. The dogs were never deemed dangerous, they have no idea which dog bit the boy after they were provoked and the one was illegally taken from a home without anyone there.( They wouldn't go onto Napiers property without a search warrant yet they illegally entered the home with no one there.) The C. attorney has been nasty and seems that winning is all that matters to him. The judge came in to the court laughing and was disrespectful when I was there. Other dogs have worse bites on their record yet they were not killed. This puts Manatee County in a very poor light as this is being watched all over Florida, the US and the world. It's time someone stood up, did the right thing and became the hero. Hoping the new Judge will do just that.
