SARASOTA, Fla. -- The weather can be blamed for no spring training games in Sarasota and Bradenton Thursday.

The Rays were scheduled play the O's at 1 p.m. at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota Thursday, but that game has been cancelled.

Fans who have paid tickets for the game can exchange them for any other Spring Training game at the stadium, pending availability of seats, or get a refund.

Rays' ace David Price was originally scheduled to start the game, but he was reportedly a healthy scratch and was going to instead throw a simulated game down in Port Charlotte.

The Pirates game at McKechnie Field in Bradenton against the Blue Jays was also scheduled for 1 p.m., but has been cancelled as well.
