3 sought in beating of teen at Siesta Key Beach

SIESTA KEY - The Sarasota Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in identifying 3 males who were involved in an aggravated battery of a teenager at Siesta Key Beach.

The incident occurred on Monday around 12:45 am near the pavilion/picnic area. The victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to Blake Medical Center via Bayflite.

The three suspects are described as follows:

1. White male, 15 – 18 years old with short, light color hair, approximately five feet nine inches to six feet tall with a slender build and wearing khaki shorts.

2. Similar in description to suspect number one and 16 – 20 years old and wearing jean shorts.

3. Described as being in his mid-twenties, “big-boned” with ear-length, dark and curly hair wearing a tank top and shorts.

The three suspects reportedly frequent the Payne Park area.
