Sketch released of person accused of exposing himself to children

SARASOTA, Fla. - The Sarasota Police Department has released a composite sketch of the man they say exposed himself to two girls in the game room of a Lido Key resort earlier this month.

According to police,  it happened on Sunday, July 7th at approximately 4:15 p.m. at the Limetree Beach Resort on  Benjamin Franklin Drive.

The grandmother of two juvenile girls told police that they were playing ping pong in the game room when a man came near them while he was masturbating and cursed at them.

The victims gave the following description:

  • White male
  • Late 20’s, early 30’s
  • 5’9”
  • Thin
  • Facial Hair
  • Wearing a black baseball cap, no shirt, black/blue/white flowery swim trunks
  • Bare feet

A little more than an hour later, several people were reportedly chasing the suspect east towards Ted Sperling Park, but he manage to elude them. The suspect was seen wearing black swim trunks or long pants and carrying a dirty white shirt and carrying his flip flops.
