SARASOTA - The Senior Friendship Center is coordinating a week long camp for grandparents and their grandchildren. It's a part of the International Road Scholar program, designed as a life long learning program to bring adventure into the lives of seniors.

This inter-generational program pairs grandparents and their grandchildren. They are staying at the Lido Beach Resort.

The camp is called "Discover the Wild Side of Florida," and they are visiting Mote Marine, Historic Spanish Point, Myakka River State Park, Sarasota Jungle Gardens, and hitting the beach to search for shark's teeth.

All arrangements for food, transportation and entertainment is made by the Senior Friendship Center, so Grandparents and Grandchildren can spend all their time learning new things, bonding and making memories that will last a life time.
