The company filed with the state a notice it will be closing and laying off 220 workers.

The company is located on Cattleridge Drive. The closing will take place on September 30th.

The cuts come after Scarborough recently bought Arbitron; both companies measure what people buy and what people watch. Scarborough Research is part of Nielsen Holdings.
