SARASOTA - Sarasota Police continue their hunt for two armed men they say are responsible for two home invasions in 24 hours.

The first home invasion robbery occurred on March 30 around 11:12 PM in the 3800 block of Rilma Avenue. Two unidentified masked men entered a home carrying weapons. The masked men demanded money and other items then left. A male victim was injured with a cut to the back of his head when he was hit by one of the perpetrators. The other victims, a female and another male, were not harmed.

The suspects have not been identified, but the investigation is ongoing and evidence is being processed.

At this time it is unknown if this robbery is related to the robbery that took place earlier on March 30th in the area of the 1200 block of 38th St.

The Sarasota Police Department is asking anyone with information about this robbery to call the Criminal Investigation Division at (941) 954-7070.
