Sarasota Police Department plans to "Tweet from the Beat"

Sarasota, FL- The Sarasota Police Department is taking you on a virtual ride-along. Friday, the Sarasota Police Department will host its first ever Tweet from the Beat.  The event is set for Friday, November 1, from 7 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Throughout the evening, Shift Commander Sergeant Ken Castro and Sergeant Rex Troche will share what they see and do through texts and photos tweeted from the beat through our Partnership Policing Communications Coordinator.  People following @SarasotaPD will be able to ask questions and interact with our officers.
