Sarasota man wins $1 million on lottery scratch-off ticket

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery has announced that a Sarasota has claimed a $1 million prize at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. Richvalsky chose to receive his winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $689,036.55.

55-year-old Lubomir Richvalsky purchased his winning 100X THE CASH Scratch-Off ticket from Sun Glo One Stop, located at 8445 South Tamiami Trail in Sarasota. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

According to the Florida Lottery, twenty prizes of $1 million and three top prizes of $5 million remain to be won in this game.

Scratch-Off games generated more than $575 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2012-13.
