SARASOTA, FL. - Sarasota Police are looking for assistance from the public to identify a man who robbed another man at knife-point.

On May 6, the victim came to the front desk of the Sarasota Police Department to report an armed robbery that happened on May 3. The victim told detectives he was not going to report the incident due to not being hurt, but wanted to report it because the suspect stole $400 from his account through an ATM.

The victim told detectives on May 3 around 8 p.m., he was leaving Legends Pub on Osprey Avenue, when he was confronted by the suspect on the sidewalk. The suspect had a knife and threatened to stab the victim if he did not give him his wallet. The victim handed over his wallet and then the suspect jumped into a black vehicle and drove away.

The victim described the suspect as a white male in his late 30's.
