SARASOTA, Fla. - Sarasota city commissioners are meeting Tuesday to once again discuss the problem of area homelessness.
At the afternoon meeting, city officials will talk about a proposal for a "come as you are" shelter for the chronically homeless.
Commissioners have not come to an agreement yet on where the shelter would be built. They will also touch on issues of funding and creating intake centers for homeless children and families.
ABC 7’s Bobeth Yates is following the story and will have more tonight on ABC 7 News at 6.
