SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. - We have more information in the investigation involving two North Port Police officers.

We now know the allegations are described as the sexual battery of a woman inside a home during a birthday party in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 2nd.

According to a heavily-redacted incident report released this week, the victim's information was sent to SPARCC, the Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center.

There is an online report suggesting who the involved officers are, but at this time the official report from the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has those names redacted.

No arrests have been made, and the officers are currently on paid administrative leave as the investigation continues.
