ST. PETERSBURG, FL. – St. Pete Police need assistance in identifying a burglary suspect wearing all purple.
He and an accomplice burglarized two homes on the same day.
On February 19 around 7:45 a.m., the two suspects broke into a rear window at 5591 16th Ave North. They took several items, including a revolver. On the same day around 12:45 p.m., the suspects broke into a rear bedroom window at 5612 17th Ave North. A few electronic items were taken during this burglary.
The Purple Burglar first approached a neighboring home to the second victim where clear surveillance video was taken of him ringing the doorbell. He then left and was caught on camera again breaking into the rear window of the victim's home.
He left the scene in a silver sedan, possibly a 2006-2011 silver, 4-door, Toyota Camry.
