County crews are trying to figure out if a sinkhole is forming on a popular Port Charlotte street.   The hole began opening up on Friday on Decatur Street between Peachland and Pemberton Avenue.

According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's office the roadway has been closed over the holiday weekend as crews assess the problem.

Drivers are urged to avoid that area.
