BRADENTON, Fla. - The search continues for a man whom Bradenton Police say may have tried to abduct a child.

The incident happened on Friday around 7pm, yet Bradenton Police just released the information Sunday night.

They say that a girl played near her home in the 1800 block of 23rd Avenue West in Bradenton when a man drove up, and started talking to her -- holding a teddy bear out of his car as he spoke.

The man drove off when one of the girl's parents saw him.

They say it was a white man, 55-65 years old, with no facial hair and a bald spot on his head. He drove a gray Mercury Grand Marquis.

If you know who this might be, Bradenton Police ask you to call Manatee County Crime Stoppers at 866-634-TIPS.
