Police investigate death of North Port infant

NORTH PORT, FL. - Authorities are investigating the suspicious death of a North Port infant.

North Port Police responded to a home in the 4600 block of Flint Drive Friday around 1:13 pm to find a 2-month old baby dead.

At this time, it is unclear how the child died and if anyone will be charged in the death.

The investigation is ongoing pending an interview with the parents and the medical examiner's report.
