SARASOTA - We're getting a first look at the new artwork that will be featured at the new Sarasota National Cemetery's new amphitheater.

The 2 million-dollar art installation at the Veterans Cemetery will include hand-tiled spires, granite-embedded photos dating back to the civil war, massive bronze eagles and a 50-foot landscape mosaic embroidered with military service ribbons.

The Patterson Foundation gave $10 million for the project

Patriot Plaza, which is already under construction for $8 million and features a 2,800-seat amphitheater, is set for completion in 2014.
