MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. -- The City of Palmetto wants to put a stricter noise ordinance in place.
According to the Bradenton Herald, the city council called for documented enforcement measures. Meaning police will use noise-reading meters when responding to a noise complaint.
Several complaints have been reported near the Rivera Dunes Marina.
Now the city wants to tweak the ordinance so they have a better understanding of what is considered too loud.
