MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. – In a follow-up to our report about 300 animals taken from a Manatee County property earlier this month, now the attorney for the owners of Napier's Animal Sanctuary says his clients plan to reopen.

Alan and Sheree Napier are reportedly working to fix the problems found at their animal sanctuary.

A raid earlier this month resulted in more than 300 animals being seized from what investigators describe as deplorable conditions.

The health department also cited the facility with numerous problems, giving them 30 days to fix the issues.

A hearing is scheduled for next month to determine if charges will be filed against the Napiers.
