Should Gov. Rick Scott sign into law a bill that increases the speed limit on Florida's interstate highways to 75 miles an hour?

The Legislature passed SB 392, allowing for a raise in the state's maximum speed limit, but reports say the Governor is seriously considering vetoing the legislation.

SARASOTA, Fla. -- One northbound lane of Interstate 75 was closed for hours Tuesday due to an overturned fully loaded dump truck, causing a several-mile backup.  All lanes are now open again.

The truck overturned around mile marker 203, just south of the Clark Road exit, at 9:45am.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the truck was in the center lane when its front left tire separated.  The wheel rim dug into the roadway, causing the truck to veer left and overturn on the shoulder.

Concrete debris from the truck bed was spread onto the roadway and shoulder.

The driver, 44-year-old Dino Pena of Bradon, suffered minor injuries.

FHP says the left lane remained closed for several hours while repairs are made to the road surface.
