SARASOTA, Fla. - The Super Bowl marks the end of the football season, but it also means baseball season is right around the corner. And a sign of that showed up Monday in Sarasota.

Baltimore Orioles team equipment arrived Monday morning at their spring training facility at Ed Smith Stadium, including everything from uniforms to bats, balls and medical supplies.

The Orioles finished third in the American League east behind the Boston Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays last season, and skipper Buck Showalter has already been keeping his team busy for the upcoming season.

"Buck already had a pitcher’s camp last week, and quite a few pitchers that are coming back from injuries, and some looking to make the team, were out here trying to impress Buck to show him how good they are and ready to go. So a very successful pitching camp," says David Rovine, Vice-President of Orioles-Sarasota.

Tickets are already on sale for the first spring training game at Ed Smith Stadium on Saturday, March 1st. The Orioles pitchers and catchers report on February 13th, and full squard reports on February 18th.
