One person critical after falling off ATV in Manatee County

MANATEE COUNTY - One person is critical after falling off an all-terrain vehicle in Manatee County.

It happened Monday around 11 p.m. at Rex Rode Road South of Singletary Road.

The ATV was traveling southbound on Rex Rode Road. There were four people on board the ATV. Two passengers were standing on the back holding on to a hand rail, when one of the passengers, 46-year-old David Wilson of Ohio, fell off.

Wilson was taken to Blake Memorial Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition. The other 3 people on board were not injured.

Charges are pending.
