SARASOTA - Authorities have confirmed that one person was found dead of an apparent suicide inside a Sarasota home that deputies surrounded Wednesday afternoon following a call to 911 from a suicidal person.

The home is in the 4300 block of Augustine Avenue. That's off Wilkinson Road, a couple of blocks east of Swift Road.  It's the same house where the FDLE served a search warrant on April 30th.

According to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, they received a 911 call at 12:35pm from a person that claimed to be suicidal.

Units, and later a SWAT team, arrived at the house but stayed back due to concerns of weapons and a compromised air quality inside the home.

One neighbor who lives close to the house in question had this to say. “They told me to get back inside, the assault rifles started coming out, the riot shields, so it started getting really serious."

Another call to 911 was placed from the home at 1:24, but this time the caller did not say anything.

The home was later breached and ventilated by the Sarasota County Fire Department.  Authorities discovered the dead body of 52-year-old Phillip Buckley inside the home.  It is believed he died from carbon monoxide poisoning.

FDLE is still not commenting on their ongoing investigation.
